Stefan Karpinski is a co-creator of the Julia programming language and a co-founder of JuliaHub. He holds a degree in mathematics from Harvard and has conducted doctoral research in computer science at UC Santa Barbara. Stefan is one of the principal authors of Julia’s core academic publications and speaks widely on topics in scientific computing, programming languages, and data science. In recognition of his contributions to technical computing, he received the J.H. Wilkinson Prize for Numerical Software in 2019, alongside Jeff Bezanson and Viral B. Shah.
